Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-20
1. Who we are and what this covers
EvidentGrid (the "Service") is operated by 1001549742 Ontario Inc., Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). These terms govern your access to the EvidentGrid portal and any related website. By requesting access or signing in you agree to them, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.
2. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority where you live (19 in some provinces and territories). The Service is for business and professional use. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.
3. Access is by approval
There is no self-registration. We review each request and may decline, limit, suspend or end access at our discretion, including where we cannot verify who you are or what you intend to monitor.
4. Accounts and security
Keep your credentials confidential, use a strong unique password, and turn on multi-factor authentication where offered. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@evidentgrid.com if you suspect it has been misused.
5. Authorized monitoring only
You may connect, query or view only devices, networks and data that you own or are explicitly authorized in writing to monitor. You are responsible for having that authority, including from your own clients if you use the Service on their behalf.
6. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you submit or that is collected from your environment. You give us the limited right to process it to provide the Service. Device credentials you enter (for example SNMPv3 keys) are stored encrypted. Each organization's data is kept separate from others'.
7. Demo accounts
Demo accounts show fictional data only, are read-only, expire automatically, and must not be used for any production or commercial purpose. We may end a demo account at any time.
8. What the Service does and does not promise
Findings and incidents are indicators with a stated confidence level, not proof of wrongdoing or of safety. The Service may miss events or report ones that are benign. It is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, and it does not replace your own security controls, monitoring or professional judgment.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim and (b) CA$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end access immediately if these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are breached, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other customers. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the version above changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
